Kuhl/Massa Third Quarter FEC Filing Numbers

As of 8/31/06, Mr. Kuhl has approximately $582,000 cash on hand, and Mr. Massa has approximately $263,000 cash on hand.  If you click each individual’s links for their cash on hand amounts, you can view their latest FEC filing reports.  If you keep advancing through the report, you can see the actual names of the contributors for this period.  (It is interesting to see the difference in the type of contributors for each of these candidates.  Looks like Massa is sticking to his promise regarding campaign fundraising contributors.)

From the Massa Campaign website:  Massa Out-Raises Kuhl for Third Consecutive Report

Massa reported over $160,000 raised for the period most recently ended, compared with Kuhl’s $108,000. The difference was even greater in individual contributions. Massa’s filings showed $123,000 from individuals, nearly doubling Kuhl’s $68,000 in this category. While Kuhl remains perched on top of a sizable war chest, the Massa camp stated that the numbers show how Kuhl’s relatively soft support has dried up when faced with a strong challenger and an imminent Democratic wave.

I would have liked to have been able to include information from Mr. Kuhl’s campaign website for this post; however, no press releases of any sort have been posted to his campaign website since August 1, 2006.
